I was brewing some mead and it did not hit high alcohol. I did some research and learned the slow fermentation is because of low nutrients so I ordered a pound of fermax yeast nutrient it says add one teaspoon per gallon but I think more might be better. Will it hurt it or be bad to do a full tablespoon a gallon? Im really wanting as much alcohol as possible in two weeks. I drink my brews without ageing because I get food stamps so its cheaper than buying liquor. I care a lot more about alcohol than taste but even fresh mead tastes pretty good in my opinion.

The yeast can only assimilate so much nutrient. What they don't consume will feed unwanted microbes in your mead, and the rest will be left behind. Nutrients, especially DAP, taste like crap. Don't do that.
