I forgot to order a strip thermometer with my new Better Bottle. Can I get one at the pet store and stick it on there? If they can read through glass, I'd think they can through plastic...
Can I use an aquarium thermo for my fermenter?

It should. Like you said if it can work through glass the plastic shouldn't be a problem.

I've used these and had no problems, for ales I think they're great because they're like 89 cents at Meijer's.
Yeah, they're fine. One of mine goes from 60-80 so it's obviously useless for lagering temps.
