Can I re-seal secondary?

I was gifted a neat mini-keg with a 1 gal capacity. I've only ever bottle conditioned my beer in the past.

I currently have a nice lager that's nearly ready to bottle. Is there any issue in siphoning off 1 gal for the keg and resealing my carboy? Hypothetically, doing this 5 times as the mini keg is emptied?

You're introducing a lot of opportunities for oxidation and potentially infections to take hold by doing that, but yes it's theoretically possible if you're clean and sanitary about it.

You could push the beer out of the carboy with CO2 to fill the mini keg. That way you won't introduce (as much) air (oxygen) into the headspace.
