Can I fill my party pig then bottle the rest later??

I bought a party pig today and wanted to have some beer ready for thanks giving. The guy at the LHBS told me I shouldn't split up the batch. Now what I was going to do was siphon the beer directly from the fermenter into the part pig then another night put the rest in a bottling bucket and bottle the rest of the batch...

Am i suposed to fill the party pig up from the bottling bucket ??

I don't see a problem with your plan, just be super sanitary

yea I don't see one iether. I'll ust bottle the rest tomorrow night.
