If you are dealing with plastic tubing, which is what it sounds like, use some heat and that should make the tubing pliable enough to pull out the check valve. I'd recommend using a hair drier first and then a propane torch if that doesn't work, remember to not burn the tubing with the torch.
 
Hmm....just a thought......could it be reverse threaded? Instead of lefty loosy it's righty loosy?

Sometimes on the back it will say...

I'm not able to look now, but I do know that Tapright threads different than Perlick.
 
nope it is just stuck on their good. I am going to have to wait until i can get my hands on a vice...
