Calculating Hard Cider Original Gravities

As far as I have found out, store bought apple juice/cider has an O.G. approximately 1.045. I am brewing in 2 liter bottles, so pouring out 5 ounces to fill the hydrometer each time kinda hurts. I have a 2- 2 liter bottles with 12 oz of FAJC in each, and 52 oz of bottled cider. I am having trouble figuring what the O.G. should be. How much sugar gravity does a 12 oz can of FAJC have? After adding a 12 oz can to 2 liters of regular juice/cider, what should the O.G. be? Thank you in advance.

Use a smaller hydrometer on a fishing line and drop it right into your fementer. Sanitized, of course.
