Do you know of any supermarkets that carry corn sugar? Tried Jewel and no dice and don't have a home brew store that's really that close. I'm looking to bottle this week (and make some cider) and really don't want to rush an online order.

Supermarkets don't normally carry corn sugar. They do carry corn syrup, but that may contain other ingredients. I would suggest using cane sugar instead. You'll need to use about 8% less than cane sugar for an equal amount of carbonation.

I've seen corn sugar/dextrose at health food stores, but don't think you'll find it at a supermarket.

Lots of people use table sugar or other sugar sources for priming without any ill effects
