Buying bulk grain in Chicago or not!

I will be traveling threw Chicago and had planed on picking up a couple bags of grain and save on the shipping cost. I came to find that Mid Co. Malt Supply no longer will sell smaller quantities unless you had and account set up previous to September 1. Is there anyone out there that has an account set up that can help a brother out?

Check with chicago home brewers group. About twice a year they do a group buy, next one should be march or so.
