I have been wondering if I could make a beer that mimics the flavor of a buttered biscuit.

Ringwood yeast is known to provide a strong buttery flavor and biscuit malt would be nice for the bready biscuit flavors.Maybe something like this would work:

5 gallon batch and 1 hour boil
Rinwood Yeast
9 pounds american two row
1.5 lbs munich
1.5 lbs biscuit
.75 pounds crystal 40
Calypso hops at 55 mins (for an apple jam taste.

Any ideas on how to improve this?

I would use some wheat in it to give it some ,"breadiness." I hope this works out, I think it's a great idea.

I think wheat would be a good idea. Maybe a pound?

I also got the idea to add lactose sugar to it to get that buttermilk sort of taste.

The lactose will likely just add residual sweetness, so I would be careful on that.
