I'm planning a Pale Ale utilizing some recently acquired Bravo and Delta hops. I'm looking for noticeable hop presence, but with good balance as an every day drinker. Inspiration for the grain bill came from EdWort's pale ale recipe. This is my first recipe build, please offer suggestions and comments. Thanks!

End of Boil Volume 6.76 gal

11 lbs Pale Malt (2 Row) US (2.0 SRM) 81.5 %
1 lbs 4.0 oz Vienna Malt (3.5 SRM) 9.3 %
1 lbs 4.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 20L (20.0 SRM) 9.3 %
1.00 oz Bravo [15.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 4 42.9 IBUs

Yeah, there appears to be a number of brewers out there using variations on bulldog. I just wanted to name it after my dog.

What about the beer?

I have an american bulldog, just giving you a hard time. Recipe looks pretty good. Not real familiar with either of those hops. For my own personal taste I might tone down the caramel/crystal a little bit. I might stagger the hop additions out a little bit at the end if you want a hoppy nose on it. Maybe add another .5oz at 5min. However it's all about your own taste.

Great minds think alike apparently. I hadn't jacked your name intentionally. My bully is French.
