Budget WiFi temp alarm for fermenting

Hey all-

I'm new to HBT, but I've been brewing since college.

My wife and I are currently working on a project that will alert you via text message or email if the temperature of your ferment crosses a user-set threshold! All with no subscription fee and an MSRP of only $50.

This would make an awesome insurance policy for someone just fermenting in a basement or closet and hoping the summer days don't get too warm.

It's also a great back-up to the DIY-marvel brewPi systems. If the computer crashes, or a breaker trips and things start getting too warm, Solidus will alert you before the batch is ruined!
