The batch we brewed last night has been brought to life and is bubbling through the rubber stopper and airlock and i dont know what to do to stop it!!! it is coming out at a slow bubble. do we take the airlock and rubber stopper off and re sanitize and put back on the car boy?????

If you have a three piece airlock, take off the cap and the middle piece and attach the clear tubing that came with your racking/bottling set up. Put the other end of the tube into a bucket filled 1/3 way up with water. CO2 will bubble in the bucket, water will prevent anything from getting in your beer and the bucket will catch anything that burps up.

It's just a piece of plastic tubing. Say four to six feet long. Put it in the stopper hole, instead of the bubbler. Then, stick the other end submerged in some sanitizer in a bucket, which prevents bad stuff from going back up the tube. The tube will then bubble into the bucket, which will potentially collect excess foam that right now is coming out of the bubbler. When it subsides, replace the bubbler.

Nothing is wrong, it's just something you have to manage.
