Ok, I know you don't transfer until bubbles stop. Then I hear to rely on gravity not airlock. Anyway, its been 2 weeks and i was getting some bubbles in the airlock but gravity remained 1.012 on consecutive days. I i x-ferred to secondary for another 2 weeks..the bubbles AND pressure in the S-airlock have stopped completely... whats up with that?

its a weak 1.040 SG cream ale...

it would appear that your beer is done. What FG did you expect?
The secondary is used for clearing the beer. Your at 70% attenuation.

i expected maybe 1.008 because it said 1.008-1.012 for gravity 1.040-1.050 so i had a SG of 1.040 so i expected the lower end at 1.008

thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure of the process of offgassing, makes sense though. Thanks Bobby, I feel better now about bottling.
