When I brewed my red ale, I used an 'Ale Pail' bucket fermenter. I didn't get to see the fermenting process, which made me sad. So...

I got a Better Bottle for my second beer. :) My Irish Stout is sitting next to my fishtank, bubbling away...I never even saw any bubbles in the airlock with the red ale (must have happened while I was asleep or at work).

With this stout, there's about an inch of thick, creamy-looking krausen...think of the top of a well-made cappucino. ;)

There's no question in this post, just a sense of well-being and accomplishment that I wanted to share.
