I just got a replacement probe for my Hach pocket pro +. I carelessly broke the original 4 months after purchase. They replaced it free of charge so I'm not complaining, but the probe looks different in 2 regards. Here's a pic

The glass ball is mounted higher up than the original suggesting that it might break easier. Also the probe is not completely full of water leaving what appears as a bubble, which I didn't notice in my first probe. Is it possible that the free replacement they sent me didn't pass as rigorous testing as the original?
I installed and calibrated and found it to be at least as stable as the original. Here's my measurements after cal, for the 4 and 7 solutions and for a sample of the beer I was drinking, the Nickel Brook Headstreet IPA.

I didn't take a reading until 10 to 15s after immersing the probe, and then I watched for 1.5 to 2 min, except where noted. It seems pretty stable to me. Should I be concerned about what I'm perceiving as "defects"?
