i've been reading some old posts about the brutus 20 2-pot system. i don't want to start a whole repeating thread, because there is already alot out there(and i've read most of them). but, one thing that i didn't see answered (maybe i missed it) was the issue of limiting yourself to about 1.050 brews. could someone chime in on this? i love the simplicity of this system, but would like to do some higher gravity beers once in awhile.

For high gravity brews I don't cross circulate. I'll heat the sparge water in the BK and then dump it to a pot. I then drain the MLT into the BK and then dump the clean hot water into the MLT and recirculate a bit. Then drain that into the BK. Works for me.

Another thing that seems to help efficiency in general is larger volumes. So get the burners/elements roaren
