I'm currently about to have my Brutus 10 stand welded together by a good friend of mine. It will be made of 2" stainless steel. Luckily he was able to put together enough scrap to make the stand.
My question is this, I'm planning on building this with HoneyWell valves rather then the ASCO valves that Lonnie used in his setup. Since the HoneyWell is much larger, I was thinking of moving the "gas beam" as well as the bottom part of the stand down 4-6" inches, as I've heard others have found that it was a bit tight when they were putting their's together.
Those of you with Brutus 10 builds, any thoughts on this? I can't imagine it would really disrupt the stability of the system, but there might be some unforeseen issue I'm just not catching on to...
Thanks in advance!
