I have two 1 lb 5 oz bottles of brown rice syrup left over from trying to brew some gluten free beer for a friend.

I can get pretty much any brewing grains locally and am wondering what type of beer can I make w/this syrup and barley?

I guess I could just use it to buck up the ABV of any beer but I'd like to see what you folks say..

I do 2 gallon BIAB brews.

Mash some 6-Row or 2-Row then add the syrup to the kettle. Somewhere between 70:30 and 90:10 Barley:Rice. Boom! You got yourself an American lager or Pre-Pro Pilsner, depending on how hoppy you make it.

Not sure if you've seen this. It provides no color or flavor. You could just keep it on hand as backup in case you're below expected efficiency after a mash.
