Hop aroma is low and bitterness is very balanced. This porter has a fruity, bready, and malty character. Head retention is good and the beer was carbonated to about 2.3 volumes. The appearance is a dark opaque brown. Body is full and silky. Very clean aftertaste with a slight fruit to the finish. My goal was to get close to Taddy porter and this beer is very close.
