Hey guys,
I'm doing my first lager with lagering techniques. I have the primary in the fridge at 50F. It's the Brewhouse Oktoberfest with Wyeast liquid yeast. It's been in there for 8 days so it should be down to SG 1.020 soon. I took a picture of the froth on top. I can't recall seeing brown froth in the primary of any other batches.
I have uploaded a pic. Let me know what you think... thanks -SHAL

Yea and if im being honest... it looks delicious! Fermentation is never pretty so just let it ride.

Man, that's all anybody ever drinks around here so it's etched clearly in my brain.
OP, your beer looks ok to me. I'm no expert but I wouldn't worry about it.

do you have an extract recipe for a Yuengling?
Sounds like something to try brewing

I was at the store the other day and I noticed Yuengling has a porter, I think next time I go I will pick up a six.
