Not seeing any bears at the moment, just an eagle chilling out on the ground by the river.

Ope, there are a couple bears over by the camera. The eagle was on the far side of the river.

Another instance of a bear catching a fish happened about half an hour after my last post.

I saw a sow with two cubs a little bit ago.

I think the bears are wandering over.

Well whatever run of fish there was yesterday already appears to be over. I see no fish trying to leap over the falls now, and there are only a couple bears in that section of the river.

After a lull in fish leaping (at least, from what I saw) the fish are back and bears are also wandering in for their snacks.

One in the middle of the falls just sitting and catching and eating. That bear is gonna be fat!

There's a bunch of discarded fish carcasses washed up on that micro island just downstream of the falls.

There is a bear that can't be bothered to fish that was nibbling on the discard a while ago.

I haven't watched a lot of the Brooks Falls cam for a few days. This afternoon I fired up the lower cam and there are a couple bears fighting over fish. One still looks like a sub adult, and judging by a lack of mom intervening the other might have even been its mom who just didn't want to share.
