Last January I brewed up a Dortmunder style lager and bottled about 60 12 oz bottles. It has been delicious and today I was loading the last 12 pack in the fridge when I pulled one of the bottles out and it was empty. Then I discovered the bottom had broken off at some point. Definitely not an explosion and I have no idea when it occurred. Also don't recall seeing a puddle on the floor where it was stored but now I see and feel the sticky residue on the tile in the basement. No other bottles were affected. This is a first for me, any thoughts on what happened here? .

Could have been a weak bottle and broke from being stacked on, when you set it down or maybe it couldn't handle the psi. If thats the only one I wouldn't even sweat it.
