British vs Northwest Pale

I brewed a batch of I2PA using British Pale and it worked out very well. I was curious if substituting Northwest Pale malt would have a noticeable effect on the final product as I am not really sure what the differences are beyond comparing the statistics of the two grains. Only point would be saving a few bucks, but would not want to totally change the character of the beer.
