The British Ale II attenuates a little more according to Wyeast. Other than that they sound similar enough. I've used Thames Valley 1275 and 1469 and would substitute one for the other in a pinch. If using Thames Valley I would probably mash a little hotter to compensate for the higher attenuation.

Wy1335 is a fine yeast for most british style beers, although it is no shoe-in for 1469. It ferments out clean and malty without much of the fruity esters 1469 is so known for. Actually, 1335 will prob make a better Innkeeper than 1469. So many people ferment that strain at like 72F and the resulting beer turns into a fruity mess, unlike the real thing.
