Bringing the shine back to Stainless Pot after Soldering

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue but after silver soldering a 1.5" TC and a 1/2" welding spud onto my stainless pot the heat / flux has left large areas of the tank dull / discoloured and where the flux ran down the side of the kettle i'm starting to get some rust. Whats the best way to bring it back to its appearance pre soldering?
