BABBLE Home Brewers of Lake County IL present BREWOFF!, our yearly BJCP sanctioned home brewing contest. Entries can be mailed or dropped off in the Chicago area until February 16th, 2018.

Judging, awards, party and fundraising auction/raffle happens March 3rd at Buffalo Creek Brewing with the public welcome for beer, brewing goodies on auction/raffle and awards at 5pm.
This years auction/raffle includes items from Spike Brewing, Micromatic, Brewtech and more. Ingredient such as bulk hops, 50lb bags of grain and yeast including Omega, Wyeast and Safale will be bargains. Buffalo Creek Brewing is one of Chicago's newest breweries founded by BABBLE member Mike Marr featuring recipes honed during his years as a BABBLE member.

I wanted to let everyone who is interested know that the club will be purchasing a beer for anyone who comes in person to the event and purchases a raffle ticket for one dollar(one beer per participant) Ive attached a link to our sponsorship page. We have tons of goodies to give away, including sanitizer, cleaner, hops, yeast, hops, gift certificates and growler fills. We will also have some big ticket items to auction off, including a 10 gallon brew pot with two horizontal couples from Spike Brewing, regulators from Micro Matic, 50lb sacks of grain a 75.00 Gift Certificate from JaDeD brewing, a temp controller from UniStat, and more to come. Feel free to swing by anytime between 1:00 PM and 5 PM and check it out. If score sheets are available when you arrive we will gladly hand them off to you along with any awards you have one.
