What's the best way to get the most flavor out of cacao beans in your brew?

I soak 4 oz of cacao nibs in vodka for a week then add the mixture to a fermenter and rack on to it for 1-2 weeks to taste.

Try to plan ahead and do a 12 week soak in vodka then freeze the solution to get the good stuff (the junk separates).
