Just got my results from the Ward water analysis. Hoping someone with a little more experience in brew water science can give me some insight. Here is what I got:

pH 7.9
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) Est, ppm 134

Electrical Conductivity, mmho/cm 0.22

Cations / Anions, me/L 2.0 / 2.0

Wow, that is pretty good water to start...

You can easily manage that level of alkalinity with a small amount of acid. I think that you can easily manage brewing something as soft as a Pilsner, and by adding some minerals successfully tackle very hoppy beers or malty dark beers.

You can either take the advice from the Brewing Water Chemistry Primer or take the leap and give some of the spreadsheets a try. I like Bru'n Water personally.

Of course, always slow filter with activated charcoal filters and/or use campden tablets to deal with any chloramines or chlorine.
