Are you using liquid yeast? If so, get of the computer and make a starter (if you haven't already)!

I got the starter going at about 5 pm last night but havent seen any action as of 7 am this morning, do I have an issue?

No, it is probably fine. Sometime you might miss the action or there might not be any, either way it is fine.

I am using a 1000mL conical flask, So I didnt expect to see much if any... I just want to get it right the first time- so It looks like "its still a go for launch"
