Hi

I have a thebrewhouse.com Stout kit:

The brew house

(4 gallon bag of preboiled wort concentrate with a packet of basic coopers yeast and packet of dextrose). The kit is designed to make 6 gallons.

I would like to use it to make ~10 gallons to fill 2 kegs.

In addition I have 2 lbs. turbinado sugar, 7 oz of KreamyX, 5 oz of corn sugar, 4 lbs. local pure raw honey, a generic nottingham yeast packet and 1 lb of extra light dry malt extract.

Looking for suggestions on creating either 1 10 gallon batch or 2 (maybe different) 5 gallon batches.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Hmm.. I don't think you could really use what you have to extend the kit that much. You could get maybe another gallon out of it with the LME, but you'll throw off the hop balance. I wouldn't recommend trying to double the recipe... I'd just put together a simple recipe for a second batch of beer, and have two different types on tap.

Thanks,

I will wait until my ingredient shipment arrives this week and go from that.
