brew stand ideas?

Has anyone tried building a brew stand that can change levels? I've been pondering over whether to try and use some sort of a jack or maybe a pulley system to raise and lower the sections. Letting gravity do its job instead of using pumps?

I built a 3 tier out of 2x4's and plywood. HLT on a turkey fryer burner up top (water plumbed so no lifting). Next down is my mash tun, when drained the wet grains are not that heavy. This drains into the boil kettle on a Bayou Classic SP10. It is high enough to drain into my fermenters.

So, no pumps, no pulleys, no winches and no heavy lifting.

May I present you with the beer tree. The platforms are bolted on with u-bolts and can be adjusted up or down if a change in any three of the containers need to be replaced. The addition of water plumbed onto the tree eliminates any lifting and was the best addition yet. A table to hold stuff during the brew is the next addition in the works. All custom built.
