I'm looking to build a BK for my electric build. I'm having trouble deciding on the drainage of the kettle. I usually use hop pellets and I used to use a hop spider but I grew tired of cleaning and replacing bags so now I've just been throwing them in. Can someone explain my options for separating the hops from the pellets? I used a braided hose in my old kettle but it seemed to clog pretty quickly. it was a pretty small one though so maybe a larger/longer one would help? does the bazooka work in this respect? can someone explain how to utilize a diptube? anyone think a false bottom is worth it? should I just continue whirlpooling and using my auto siphon?
