Sorry if this has been posted already, I did a search and found nothing. Brew dog made an 11 bottle release of the stuff at 500 pounds a bottle which is about $850.

Hmmmm.... i just wish they would make something that TASTED good.

I've had two or three of their beers and... or more correctly.... one drink of two or three of their beers.

I recall enjoying a couple of their beers at a craft beer festival. But the extreme beers don't hold any interest for me, unless someone is willing to give me a free sample just to try.

Ive only had a punk ipa and it was oxidized so I really have no negative or positive things to say about them. I just never buy their stuff cause it's real expensive. Maybe they will be at the great taste and I can try some stuff.

No... I think that's just how it tastes.

The punk IPA was the first of their beers that I had. My wife ordered it at the Flying Saucer in Raleigh. It only came in 22oz bottles and was like $12 or something.

When she took her first sip she grimaced. All of us at the table passed it around and not one single person liked it.

We called the waitress back and said we wanted to return it and she said that we couldn't because it was an expensive bottle. The best way to piss my wife off is to tell her she "can't", so we asked to see the manager.

He walked up looking kind of smug and asked, "So... which one of you didn't like this beer?" My guess is that he was going to try and convince SWMBO that the beer was good, but just not her style.

I answered, "None of us liked it. We passed it around and have all decided that it's terrible."

he had no response for that, so he took the beer back and brought her a pint of something else.

Haha good to know I wasn't alone. Ya 3 of us split a bottle and after a few sips each we poured it down the drain.

Brewdog isn't a beer company, they are an absurdly stupid marketing company that sells mediocre overpriced beer.

I actually liked their Tokyo, but all the others I've tasted were crap.
In fact, I still have two Bashas and a Nanny State that were given to us while in the UK last year. Neither I or SWMBO really has any interest in drinking them. And "Tactical Nuclear Penguin" was probably one of the worst beers I've ever tasted.

I imagine it's hard for them out there. They are influenced by the American craft beer movement using American ingredients in a place where thy are the only ones doing it. Maybe they will get better.

I thought the Punk IPA tasted like Pine-Sol.

I had a taste of the Paradox Smokehead and it tasted like somebody just threw a bunch of malts together, dumped in way too much rauchmalt and thought they could charge $10 a pint for it.
