Brau Supply UniBrau 120v eBIAB System - Tips

Hey all - Just pulled the trigger and bought the Brau Supply UniBrau 120v system. I am very excited, but was wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks to using the system or using the EZBoil Controller.

Id replace the pond pump with a food grade one if it were me.. I have looked more than once and The manufacturers and all the other retailers who sell it do not state or advertise it as being food grade at all... some of these style pumps have exposed magnets or are made from plastics that arent stable or foodsafe at high temps... There are cheap food grade safe to boiling temp pumps that would be a direct swap like this one which would plug right into the powersupply that comes with your setup...

The tan ones are ok too but dont have the correct plug on the end for your powersupply. (if it has the plug and isnt hardwired)
