I've made mead before, but it's been years and I've long since sold my set-up. (it wasn't very extensive anyway. A bucket, an air lock, a carboy and a tube for racking)
What are some good inexpensive ways to start brewing? I am on a very limited budget, so this is the critical limitation for me.

I would check and see if Midwest supplies still has their Groupon going on and buy that if they do. If not, check craigslist, Ebay, or somewhere else online for a cheap setup. And then look for a cheap pot somewhere. Good luck in your search. :mug:
