bottling in big bottles

I was wondering is there any difference between bottling in small 0,5 liters bottles, and big 2 liters bottles.

is it ok to bottle in big 2 liters bottles?

Yes it is. The bigger the bottle, the less bottles to clean/sanitize.

what about consuming? if I open and close this big bottle many times, i suppose it will lose gas and flavour....

that's the problem. I tend to like smaller bottles. it's a pain to clean and bottle but I don't feel like I have to finish the big bottle once I open it. especially since I don't use PET bottles, I don't want to recap after every glass.
