So I'm planning on brewing a lager soon and have a question regarding storage after bottling. Since the beer will have been kept cold for weeks when I bottle it should it be ok to store at room temp? I'm assuming it will be fine since companies have been selling room tempt lagers for a long time. I just always heard that once beer is cold it will go bad after it warms up and then gets cold again.

No, it'll be fine carbonating at room temp. Once that's done in a couple weeks, you could store them in a cool basement to keep the flavors good over a longer time period.

The bottles have to be at room temperature if you want them to carbonate.

Beer does NOT go bad when the temperature goes from cold to warm then back to cold. That is a myth. Oxidation and light are the worst things for beer.

Awesome, that answers that. Thanks
