I am going to bottle a beer that has been down around 40*. Do i need to get it around room temp before i put in the bottling bucket or can i just siphon onto the priming suger to get it to carb.

thanks

from my experience you don't need to anything special. Just bottle it at whatever temp it is. However, I would dissolve the priming sugar into boiling water before adding to the beer so it disperses easier. Also, with a lager it will take noticeably longer to carbonate than ales.
