I have an open ended question for everyone in here. I'm considering the idea of opening up a bottle shop in the city I live in (Lubbock, TX) and was wondering if anyone in here has any experience with this sort of thing. Currently, Lubbock is quite a beer desert. We have a few liquor stores and grocery stores that carry up to 20-30 different micro brews, 10-15 different brands. They are all pretty much the same beers at all locations, a very limited selection across town. I've looked on a few of the area distributors websites and it seems like I they offer hundreds of different brands to choose from in this area. I realize that I will have to call and talk to someone to see what is 'actually' available, but I wanted to know if anyone in here had any thoughts on this.
