Im just about ready to bottle my third batch of cider - I have run out of the plastic PET bottles. Would vodka and other spirit bottles be ok for cider - Im worried it will lose the gas and end up flat cider.
NO.You should be more worried about explosions.You can use anything that held a carbonated beverage.Soda bottles may be ugly,but work great in a pinch.
