I want to brew a hefe and bottle it but seeing this style calls for higher volumes(3-3.5 vols) of co2 will a standard bomber bottle be able to hold the pressure? or do you need champange or belgian bottles? thank you

You'll probably need the heftier Belgian bottles. Check out the stickied thread called "Bottling Tips for Homebrewer" lots of awesome info in that, post 5 answers your question. However Revy posted this link from NB but I re copied the link for you anyways.

The standard 12oz bottles hold up to 3 volumes.
