boilover control!

Almost forgot to post this!

I brewed a hefe last Sunday and had outstanding success in controlling my boilover with this!

I had a small boilover issue in the beginning as I dropped the stupid thing and had to chase batteries but beyond that, worked great!

Hahaha, man this is an awesome and strange/interesting post. Best part was chasing the batteries. Who'd think to use an air-mattress pump for boil-off?

Can't you use a spray bottle with water? I keep forgetting to get one to try it. My method is stirring and lifting the pot off the burner before it boils over, hah.

When woot had these for cheap I bought two . Vornado clip on fan works but great I still keep a spray bottle around .

Now it will happen again...but...I've only had one boilover making a mead...then got one of these and never had an issue...
