Y burner broke so I had to boil wort in two kettles. Added hopes two both ( divided). Cooled and aerated into primary bucket. Any possible side affects ? Low grav reading? Tast ?

I don't see why this would cause you problems. I assume you divided the ingredients/hops equally? Five gallon batch?

I normally do a split boil in y two pots and I add hopes to both. I do not believe there are any side affects. I have not had low grav readings and I believe the tast is excellent.

Lol. Thanx. Just kinda caught me off guard and was wondering if any one has done same thing

I do it all the time, nothing bad has ever happened.. My 2 big issues:

1. More than likely 1 pot will begin boiling before the other, usually the window is pretty small though.

2. More to lift, more to dump, more caution to take, more of a pain in the butt.

What are hopes?

I put tons of hopes into each of my beers:

1) I hope it tast good, or even fan-tast-ic
2) I hope it'll get me drunk
3) I hope it'll get me laid
4) I hope I don't fall down
5) I hope I don't get sick
6) I hope I don't go to jail

That's over 130 IBHs (International Beer Hopes) in my last batch alone! :ban:

Y don't have dreams for each of your batches?
