Boil water in conical

Hey all! I was just thinking about sanitizing my equipment and how much water I waste to sanitizer. I was thinking about cutting down on water waste by attaching a tri clamp heating element to the bottom of my conical and boiling water to sanitize it. That way I could drain the water cool it and either reuse it or use it for animals on my farm. Are there any issues I'm not thinking of? Will this be a risky way to sanitize?

Sounds like a plan to me. If you're sealing it, make sure you open the relief valve! Also make sure your gaskets can handle the higher temps.

Most people just fill a good spray bottle with sanitizer and spray everything till it is wet. It's dead simple, dirt cheap, and fast.

I guess spray bottle would be more simple haha. I don't know though I may give it a try.
