Boil Size

This week I will be doing my first 5 Gal brew with the Caribou Slobber from NB. The directions say to boil 2.5 gal the add the rest. Is it alright if I boil 5 then topoff when I put in the frementor. I got a 10 gal kettle and dont want the level to be too low.

You can but be aware that the recipe is designed for that size boil for hops utilization, boiling a larger amount will result in a higher amount of hops bitterness and flavor.
