my 2nd a/g attempt and when i added my only hop addition to my kettle at 60mins i had a boil over. i just threw them in there with out the bag. i was just wondering what affect this might have on my beer.

It won't affect the final product. You'll just have a bit less of it, depending on what your pre-boil volume was and what your boil-off rate is. And you have a sticky mess to deal with. :)

For the future - keep a glass of ice cold water right next to your kettle. about 6 ounces will stop a boil over in its tracks, right then, right now.

Pez.
