BluCreek Blueberry Ale from Pioneer Brewing Co. in Black River Falls WI. "Ale brewed with wild blueberries and wild blueberry juice with natural flavor added."
The nose on this is really awesome, but at first taste I was disappointed. Just not a lot of body to it at all and definitely lacking in flavor... I let it warm a bit, and that seemed to bring some of the blueberry flavor out, but even still, the aroma was better than the taste. It wasn't awful, just LACKING...
Since we have so many Wisconsonites and Ex-Patriot Wisconsonites here at HBT I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on these guys... Again, not a bad beer, just not a lot of body or taste to it...
