Ive done 2 AG batches so far. I did a dry stout recipe from this forum a couple weeks ago and a Belgian Wit yesterday. Ive had 1.051 OG for both which is what they were supposed to be. I used 1000ml starters for both and I have noticed that there is hardly any blowoff on them as opposed to the extracts I was doing. The extract ones would bubble out of the blowoff tube for a day or so. The stout finished out right where it was supposed to...still waiting on the Wit. Any reason for this or to worry at all?
thanks
Chris

No reason to worry at all. Every Batch will Ferment differently. Some Blow Off crazily, while sometimes I'll go on a stretch where the Blow Off Tube stays clean for what seems like forever. my advice is to keep using the Blow Off Tube until you feel sure that the threat of blow Off is over in your fermentation. You don't want to be that guy that should have used one, but didn't...:drunk:
