Blow Tube

Any suggestions on a cap that holds a thermowell, coolstix and a blow tube? I am using a three hole cap on my carboy but leaks at the sides of the holes cause my blow tube is not big enough and fermentaion of my porter is very vigorous. I would like to use a 1 inch tube but cant put the coolstix and thermowell in too. Thoughts/

Can you place the temp probe on the side of the carboy , held on by a sponge and tape?

probably, but woudl it give an accurate reading? I may just buy one of those SS Brewtech Unitanks instead. lol/

Yes I used to do it this way on carboys quite often. SS is very nice . I started out on carboys and fast ferments then went to a Spike conical. At some point I will buy another Spike.
