Blichmann gun and rootbeer

Spoke with the guys at blichmann and hard to believe, but none of them have ever tried the gun on root beer. I'm getting a ton of foam here. With my kegerator I'm running 30PSI and 30' of line. It's worked out perfectly for every batch so far. The gun instructions say use the 10' hose attached San not to ever go over 15psi. All the YouTube videos were for beer and every one of them were using about 2-5 psi and have little to no foam at all. Tried those psi setups with no luck at all. Anyone actually try this with good results.

I got the Blichmann since I wanted to bottle out of the keg and not have any on tap.
I've had a ton of foam when I've used the Beer Gun, however, I also had a ton of foam with a counter pressure filler. I am still trying to get my kegged soda to come out well.
